- Fetch videos in a selected playlist.
- Display the user’s “Liked Videos” for easy access.
People API (Scope: auth/userinfo.profile)
- Access and display basic profile information, such as the user’s name and profile picture, to personalize the app experience.
Our Commitments:
- These scopes are used only with the user’s explicit consent.
- No modifications or changes are made to the user’s data.
- Retrieved data is strictly used within the app and not shared with third parties, except as outlined in the “Third-Party Service Providers” section.
We prioritize safeguarding Google user data accessed through the YouTube Data API v3 and People API
- Retention of Google User Data:
- Google user data is retained only as long as necessary to provide app services or comply with legal obligations.
- Temporarily stored data includes playlists, liked videos, and videos in a playlist. This data is not permanently stored on our servers.
- Profile data retrieved via the People API is used solely during active user sessions and is not retained.
- Deletion of Google User Data:
Users can request deletion of their Google data by contacting metube.technology.solution@gmail.com.
Upon request:
- All associated Google data will be promptly deleted from our servers and systems.
- Session-based data within the app will also be cleared.
If a user revokes access to their Google account, we will cease accessing or using their data immediately.
- User Control:
- Users can manage permissions through their Google account settings.
Revoking access stops further data collection or processing from their account.
- Privacy Commitment:
- We do not store Google user data longer than necessary for our services.
